The Touch (1971) yesterday on ARTE.tv

I switched off the film after about a third of the running time because it was simply played too badly, but the camera work was interesting:

When the woman was cleaning the house or was otherwise active, the camera angle often moved wild in the room and close to the floor, and after the woman covered the camera eye twice with an item of clothing when putting away laundry, I initially thought, the cameraman has a funny idea and then rides it dead - but then the realization came: it could be a subtle reference to surveillance cameras hidden in the apartment - because this technical ability might have gradually emerged at that time.
